Long Lines offers several different yoga practices for all skill levels. Guests are also welcome to explore the calendar for outdoor practices taking place throughout the spring. Learn more about yoga opportunities below.

Brenda is a spirited and passionate Yoga instructor who caters classes to the individual, whether experienced or a first-timer.

Join her for Yin Yoga Mondays at 7:00 pm and Wake-up Yoga Saturdays at 9:15 am.

Qualifiers

Yoga for Climbers

A focus on mobility, strength, and flexibility, with an emphasis on core work and breath. Students can enjoy a balanced class that alternates between steady, strength building poses and fast-paced flows. Modifications will be offered throughout the class, making it great for all levels.

Post-Climb Restorative

A gentle and slow-paced class designed as a starting point for post-workout recovery. The deep stretches and soft movements will target connective tissues and joint mobility in a calm and relaxing environment. Beginners can find this as an accessible introduction to yoga, while athletes of all levels can benefit from the restorative postures.

Morning Yoga

This slow flow class is centered around loving kindness. Whether new to yoga or a seasoned pro, come move your body and breath in a way unique to you. Grounding poses, mindful connection and heart centered expansion will be weaved throughout the practice.

Weekend Wake-Up Yoga

Focus on getting up and ready for the weekend. Class involves gentle stretching, breathwork, and uplifting music to energize your Saturday. Bring along your favorite non-alcoholic morning beverages.

What To Wear

Clothing

Guests must be wearing a shirt and shorts or pants. Skirts and dresses are not permitted.

Check-In

  • Enter Long Lines Recreation Center from the 1st Floor parking lot entrance.
  • Proceed up the ramp to the 2nd Floor.
  • Proceed to the the Check-In Desk on the north end of the building.
